Tiny Samsung HMX-R10 camcorder launching in April
The Samsung HMX-R10 is apparently the world's smallest 1080p camcorder.
Samsung has revealed that the HMX-R10, apparently the world’s smallest hi-def 1080p camcorder, will hit the UK next month.
The HMX-R10 can shoot full HD 1080p footage or 9-megapixel still shots, and features a 2.7-inch touchscreen with a wide viewing angle, but its biggest asset could be its dinky dimensions: it measures just 130×38 x 58mm when closed, and weighs only 229g.
On board is a 5x optical zoom, optical image stabilisation and SD/SDHC card slot for storage. Look at the picture and you’ll also see that the lens is angled slightly up – apparently this allows you to hold the camcorder at an angle that’s more comfortable for your wrist.
Samsung still hasn’t revealed how much the HMX-R10 will cost, but given the looming launch date, it’s likely this information will be public domain very soon.
