The Gadget Show Live: Grace One Electric Bike
Weekend aside, it’s only a few days until the Gadget Show Live, and we can’t wait! We’ve been having a peek at some of the products that will be there, with the Grace One electric bike looking particularly attractive.
If, like us, the idea of being out and about on a bike appeals, without the effort of having to pedal up great big hills, then the Grace One electric bike could be the ideal solution.
The Grace One looks like no other electric bike. It’s styled exactly like a regular bike, but with a hugely oversized frame. We presume the batteries are hidden neatly in the frame, with a hub motor on the back wheel along with the regular gear assembly for when you do fancy having a pedal.
Features include integrated lights, a computer and everything you need to get going. The best bit about the Grace One, however, is that it can travel at up to 28mph – even more, we presume, if you’re pedalling like a lunatic at the same time.
The Gadget Show Live promises a 1,000 metre test track for guests to try out devices like the Grace One – which will be launching at the show.

I thought ebike are restricted to 16mph, over that they need all sorts of extras like insurance, registration, plates, indicators, to name a few

Obviously NOT designed by cyclists, as the overly long seat tube will only be any good if your about 7 foot, and the reach of the handlebars are far to short for anybody. An utterly AWFUL design. Back to the drawing board me thinks.
