Super-skinny Lenovo ThinkPad X1 goes head-to-head with MacBook Air
Lenovo’s ThinkPad range usually attracts buyers due to excellent quality and comfort, but every now and again the company produces a stunner – with the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 a prime example.
The ThinkPad X1 is the latest addition to Lenovo’s laptop range, and provides an amazingly thin design. At 13.3 inches, it’s big enough to work comfortably on, while still being highly portable.
Lenovo has equipped the Thinkpad X1 with a Gorilla Glass screen, which should resist the scuffs and scratches that are usually picked up on the daily commute.
Despite a chassis that measures under 22mm at its thickest, this tiny laptop is still a portable powerhouse, with a fast 2.5GHz Intel Core i5 processor, up to 8GB of memory and a 16GB Solid State Drive.
In-keeping with its portable aspirations, there’s a fingerprint reader for security, and Lenovo claims the battery is capable of lasting up to three times longer than a standard laptop battery.
Prices have yet to be announced, but the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 should be available later this year.
