Spotify for iPhone... approved!
Apple has approved the Spotify app for iPhone; music lover everywhere rejoice
Great news music lovers! Apple has approved the Spotify for iPhone app, getting the thumbs up from the officials at the Cupertino based company. That means it won’t be log before the prestigious app wings its way to the iPhone App Store.
The Spotify iPhone app has been awaiting approval for a while now, and after the Google Voice debacle (Apple’s being investigated over the spat), we were wondering whether the Spotify app would get approval.
Well, now you can look forward to mobile music streaming on the fly because Apple has approved the app. That means you can get your fill of Nickelback and Chad Kroeger grumblings wherever and whenever you want.
iPhone owners will have to pay the £9.99 a month for the premium Spotify subscription, though. But that also has its advantages – no adverts and better sound quality at home. Besides, for the ability to make an untold amount of playlists for carrying around, wouldn’t you pay a tenner a month?
Anyway, we’re just glad to hear the news. What do you think? Will the Spotify app be the best iPhone app yet? Let us know in the comments section below…

Fantastic news and really happy for them and makes me want to buy an iPhone now lol Just heard about another amazing iPhone app being developed as well for online TV with a company called TVCatchup, where you will be able to watch all freeview UK TV on the app. With Facebook 3.0 and TVCatchup offering media app’s it’s going to make the iPhone even more attractive to purchase.

Huzzah!, can't deny that alot of Spotify's useage appeal is it's FREEness but Apple would never have agreed to that (£££££) LastFM is a good alternative.
