Sony VAIO P is an instant hit!
Sony’s portable netbook gets an instant on. Turns us on!
You may have noticed that the netbook has become a rather popular gadget of late, and topping that pile is the uber-sexy Sony VAIO P. Don’t let Sony hear you calling it a netbook, though, they prefer the term ultra-portable. Anyway, we’ve just heard that the VAIO P just got that little bit more desirable, due to the fact that it has instant-on technology, allowing you to switch on and surf without the tedium of waiting for Windows to boot up.
We’ve been championing the Sony VAIO P since we first caught a glimpse of its sexy, lithe body, but we had our reservations about it running Windows Vista. Thankfully, though, due to the Instant On tech you can just lift the lid and get to work on the important stuff straight away – that, or just go onto YouTube and check out the latest surfing animal craze.
How does Instant On work? Well, makers Corel have made it so the “ultra-portable” will load up all the key apps (web browser, email, media player, IM client) in an instant. Just what the impatient man ordered!
