Sony unleashes new Alpha males...
...and by males, we mean cameras: the a380, a330 and a280 to be precise
Ahoy hoy. Sony’s just unveiled its new Sony Alpha range of DSLR cameras (which includes a380, a330 and a280 offerings) and it’s sending shivers down Nikon and Canon’s photographic spines!
The top of the range Sony Alpha a380 DSLR is the main course on Sony’s DSLR menu, serving up a feast of features, including a 14.2-megapixel sensor for taking snaps as big as the side of your house (nearly). It also has a 2.7-inch tilting LCD panel, and comes side-order of HDMI and SteadyShot image and stabilization.
Also on Sony’s list is the Sony Alpha a330 that has the same adjustable panel and Quick AF Live View, but instead of that 14.2-megapixel sensor, it’s got a 10.2MP offering. The Sony Alpha a230, meanwhile, ditches the twisty screen altogether.
To help things down, Sony’s offering them all with a glug of its new user interface with a help guide built-in for DSLR beginners. There’s still no word on how much this trio of photographic delights will cost, but they should be up for pre-order today.

Amazing piece of kit, i bought the Sony A380, and i have used it pretty much ever single day. I have taken beautiful pictures with the 18 - 55mm kit. Brilliant, i would give it 4 g's!
