Sony streaming FIFA World Cup footage to Bravias and Blu-rays
Sony Bravias – now with added World Cup
Owners of Sony Bravia TVs and Blu-ray players will soon be able to fill up on classic footy, as Sony is set to stream the FIFA World Cup collection to internet-enabled Bravia models as well as compatible Blu-ray players.
The FIFA footage is set to drop on the Bravia Internet Video service on your Sony mid-May for free, whetting your appetite before the World Cup beings on 11 June.
Videos will include a countdown of the 20 best World Cup moments and official films for every tournament. There’s also a rundown of the 15 best players in World Cup history and short films on classic World Cup stories.
The Bravia Internet Video Service already serves up content from Demand Five and Lovefilm, as well as access to Facebook and YouTube.
