Sony revamps its VAIO laptop line-up
Following another exciting CES festival of new gadgets, Sony gotten a little excited about its future by refreshing its VAIO laptops with new specs and features.
If you were one of the, we assume many gadget fans hoping to own a VAIO laptop this year, read on for details on what’s new, to see why delaying that laptop purchase may get you the best deal.
Sony revealed the new changes to its popular VAIO laptops in an official blog post. The Z Series will be the first to benefit from the planned upgrades. Z Series laptops will feature the latest second generation Intel Core processors from Intel Core i5 to i7. Starting prices for the Z Series will be set at around $1949.99 (£1,255 when converted).

S Series VAIO laptops will also be getting a processor upgrade, with 13-inch and 15-inch laptops going up to Intel Core i7 for both. The 15-inch variety will sport a full HD display with IPS tech for an improved picture and viewing angle. Both models will be available from February, with prices starting from $800 (around £515.
And for something completely different, Sony has revealed a C Series Kaleidoscope laptop inspired by floral patterns. Specialist techniques give the laptop an engraved texture. This design is available on 14-inch and 15-inch screens models. A Geometric Black model is also available featuring a case with an embossed-like finish that you won’t see on other laptops.
All the above means that, if you were planning a laptop purchase anytime soon, it may be best to wait till February. That way you can get the best price, for the best specs.
