Sony Move motion controller is here!
Playstation Move – motion-sensitive treats coming your way
Sony has just announced its very own motion controller to rival the Wii and Microsoft’s Project Natal – and it’ll be called the Playstation Move.
The Playstation Move looks a little like a remote control with a light bulb on the end, but it promises some sweet motion-sensitive treats – including a new medieval sword and shield beat-em-up and a table tennis game showing more subtle movements than Wii Tennis. There’s also a more brutal sports action title with Dukes, a bare-knuckle boxing game.
LittleBigPlanet will also get Playstation Move integration, as will SOCOM 4 and Tiger Woods 2011, which will allow you to swing the controller like a real golf club.
Sony will sell the Move in three different packages in time for Christmas. For those who already have the Playstation Eye camera, there will be solo Move controller deals. The next bundle will pack a Playstation Eye camera, Playstation Move controllers and a game. Finally, a “full fat” package will include a Playstation Eye camera, Playstation Move controllers, games and a Playstation 3. Sony execs said the Playstation Eye, Playstation Move controllers and game package will sell for under $100 (about £66).

This looks a lot better than the wii alternative, bit expensive though.

Quote: "*Cough* Rip-Off! *cough* have Sony really ran out of good idea's already?" Couldn't one say that the Xbox 360 ripped off the PS3 and WII? Before you accuse me of supporting PS3, I play all of them and don't see why people have to complain about one or the other. If want to say there ripping one idea of the other, then you could say they have all ripped of the Magnavox, that being the first video games console.
