Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD gets outed pre-CES 2012
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD is set to make an appearance at CES 2012 but it looks like images and tech spec for the Android smartphone have already made their presence felt. Read on to find out more about the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD looks like it’s set to build on the HD aspects of its name by shipping with a HD resolution screen, as well as pack in a 12-Megapixel camera that will be more than capable of handling HD video capture too.
The guys over at IT Pro Portal are claiming they’ve got an exclusive hands-on pre CES 2012 launch of the smartphone, so while the full tech spec isn’t confirmed as official yet, the site is claiming that a ‘trusted source’ has revealed enough for us to know that it will ship with a Qualcomm 1.5GHz processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage.

Joining the ranks of the iPhone 4S, Motorola Razr and Nokia Lumia 800, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD will use a micro-SIM card instead of a full-fat variant. More oddly still, it’s thought the Android smartphone will ship with Gingerbread 2.3.7 rather than Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Naturally, we’ll have to wait until the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD is launched at CES in the next day or so to find out whether the pre-announcement hubhub has been worthwhile but we think this promises to be something a little different.
