Sony Ericsson unveils dazzling T707 phone
The T707: light fantastic
Sony Ericsson’s latest phone is clearly aimed at stylista with busy schedules: you don’t even need to touch the T707 to silence the ring or alarm – you simply wave your hand at it, a sensor in the screen detects the motion and the noise stops. Magic!
The clamshell handset, which is being promoted by tennis ace Maria Sharapova, also boasts unique light effects. You can set different coloured lights for each of your friends, and the phone will shine out these colours when the corresponding buddy calls – so you can tell who’s calling without even checking the screen. And then cut the call with a wave of your hand if you don’t want to talk to them.
Elsewhere the T707 sports HSDPA, a 3.2-megapixel camera, music player and stereo Bluetooth. It’ll be available in “Q2”, which means sometime during the next three months.
