Sony Ericsson gives away unlimited music downloads
Sony Ericsson joins the unlimited music extravaganza
As Madonna said: “We’re living in a material world, and we’re material girls.” Except we’re boys. The ideas right, anyway. And that’s why we love Sony Ericsson for offering unlimited music downloads from its PlayNow music service.
The Walkman specialist promises millions of tracks will be available right from the off when the service launches early next year. Just like Nokia’s own Come With Music service, you’ll be able to keep your music even after your contract expires.
Thanks to the magic of 3G, zapping music straight to your mobile couldn’t be any easier. Just hit up the service on your phone and get, ahem, grooving. Some nifty PC software will even let you sync your phone with your PC or laptop so you can share your tunes with whoever’s unfortunate to be in the vicinity.
A swanky new Sony Ericsson W902 Plus Phone – touting a five-megapixel smile grabber, HSDPA for high data speeds and 8GB of storage – will be the first handset to get PlayNow when it launches in Sweden before the rest of the world in 2009. We can’t wait to download those Madonna songs. Erm, did we say Madonna, we meant Metallica. Yes, definitely Metallica.
