Sony Bravia Freeview TVs incoming
Sony Bravia – now with added Freeview
Sony’s Bravia TVs complete with built-in Freeview are hitting the high street on Monday, bringing high-def, no-subscription viewing right in your living room.
Sony has announced that the Freeview-packing tellies will hit the shelves on the first day of March, and say that this is merely the tip of the Freeview iceberg, claiming that three-quarters of its new Bravias released in 2010 will come packing the subscription-free service. Great news for anyone interested in getting a new telly in time to witness the World Cup in HD.
The most feature-packed of the new Bravia bunch is the Network NX803, which also comes packing Wi-Fi, a proprietary Lovefilm widget, Skype and Bravia Internet Video – a web-based catch-up service. There’s also the latest 200Hz Motionflow tech lurking inside.
Other models include the Cinematic HX803 – complete with 3D-ready credentials – and the Essential EX703, which is the eco-conscious member of the family.
