Sky Player coming to Humax Freeview Humax Freeview – now with added Sky

The Sky Player service is to be included on Humax Freeview set-top boxes, bringing its IPTV video on demand content to thousands of new users.

The announcement of Sky’s further spreading of its wings was made by the company today, and follows on from previous deals to provide Sky Player to Xbox, 3View and Cello, bringing its content to an ever-widening audience.

Humax’s Freeview boxes are popular in the Freeview market and Sky’s service will launch across its range of internet-enabled HD boxes, including the Humax HD-FOX T2, which launched in February 2010, and a Humax HD digital TV recorder planned for the coming months. The service will come at no extra charge for Freeview users.
