Sennheiser works up a sweat with new sporty earphones
Sennheiser's new earphones will stay put during a workout
If you’re serious about working out and getting trim for summer then there’s one thing you’re going to need to help push you through the most extreme of training sessions: Eye Of The Tiger. It worked for Rocky, after all. If your own gym is less than accommodating to your musical requests, fear not as Sennheiser has just announced a new range of sport friendly earphones so you can listen to Survivor as many times as you like.
They’re all sweat and water resistant, so it doesn’t matter how hard you work out, they’ll come to no harm. You can even wash them afterwards, to keep them sparkling clean. They’re powered by neodymium-iron drivers, so you still get super crisp audio to accompany your crunches.
At the top of the range is the CX 380 Sport II, which sit tightly in the ear canal so they won’t fall out and also seal off the outside world for better audio clarity. For the runners out there, there’s the PMX 80 Sport II which feature a neckband that sits round the back of your head ensuring they stay put.
The OMX 80 Sport II include over the ear clips to keep them tightly attached to your lugholes, while the MX 85 Sport II use Sennheiser’s twist to fit system to keep them firmly in place. Finally there’s the MX80 Sport II which are perfect if you just want some rugged earphones to keep in your gym bag.
The earphones range from £25-50, making them cheaper than most gym subscriptions.
