The Sanyo Xacti CA100 has just splashed down in the UK. The latest waterproof HD camcorder is now available to buy over here, just in time for the capturing all the magic of the school holidays.
The Xacti CA100 is waterproof to a depth of three metres and will shoot 1080i HD footage at up to 60fps, as well as 14MP still images and there’s a 5x optical zoom (12x digital). It totes the same handy pistol-grip design of previous sporty Sanyos and it comes in shocking pink or yellow as well as a more sober black option.
The Sanyo Xacti CA100 records to SD and SDXC card and is compatible with Eye-Fi cards so you can transport your snaps straight to the web via Wi-Fi. YouTube and Facebook uploading is simplified by the fact that the camera grabs its clips in MP4. There’s also HDMI out to watch your masterworks on your HD TV.
The Sanyo Xacti CA100 is available now for £349.
