Samsung Memoir is a grrrrrrr8 camera phone

Fwd Tech  Thursday 05 February 2009

Samsung Memoir is a grrrrrrr8 camera phone Eight megapixel camera phone, you say? Yes please!

Samsung is unleashing an eight-megapixel camera phone on the masses! Called the Samsung Memoir, it actually looks more like a camera than a mobile phone in its styling, but trust us, this bad boy is one of the hottest snappy handsets we’ve seen.

That whopping sensor allows you to take snaps up to A3 size with no visible loss in quality. So, you come to the Memoir party for the eight-megapixel sensor, but you stay for the extras. Extras such as a Xenon flash for altogether brighter piccies, a 16x digital zoom, five shooting modes, and direct sharing to most online photo galleries.

That’s not it, though, on its rear is a sexy touchscreen that projects a full virtual QWERTY keyboard when necessary, a music/video player, Bluetooth, and A-GPS.

A veritable do-it-all phone that looks more like a camera than a caller. Whether people will give you odd glares for talking into your “camera” remains to be seen…
