Samsung Galaxy S Advance: mid-entry Android with high-end specs
Samsung is just one of the companies expected to announce new phones at the forthcoming MWC 2012 mobile convention. So it’s a surprise to see Samsung officially already launch the Samsung Galaxy S Advance.
The latest in the growing line of Samsung Galaxy smartphones packs in an impressive array of specs in a mid-entry Android smartphone that still screams out high-end goodness.
Samsung Galaxy S3 rumours: Five things you need to know
For a start, a 1GHz dual-core processor is not too shabby at all. Browsing the web, those pages should load up pretty quickly. You won’t find the latest Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system – the Samsung Galaxy S Advance has Android 2.3 Gingerbread on board.
The screen is a 4-inch Super AMOLED display with, for those that like to keep count, a 400×800p resolution. The rear camera is a 5-megapixel offering capable of recording high definition 720p-rated video. A front-facing 1.2-megapixel camera takes care of video calls, should you wish to make any.
A release date has not been announced, but it is thought that Samsung will be showing off the Samsung Galaxy S Advance at MWC 2012 before it arrives in stores in the following weeks.
