Samsung Galaxy Apollo Android phone official
Samsung Galaxy Apollo - social networking skills galore
It might be the iPhone 4’s week, but if you’re more of a Google Android fan, then Samsung has a slick new treat that’s bound to sate your gadget appetite. Step forward the Galaxy Apollo, which comes loaded up with the latest version of Google’s awesome operating system.
As well as a bright 3.2-inch touchscreen and the usual 3G support found on all the best smartphones, the Galaxy Apollo comes with some slick added extras. There’s a dedicated social hub which pulls together all your contacts across Facebook, MySpace and Twitter into one place. The social hub feature also lets you upload, manage and share snaps and videos on the likes of Facebook, Picasa and YouTube.
On top of this networking niceness, you’ll find wide ranging support for music and video files, as well as a 3 megapixel camera slapped on the back for quick fire shots when you haven’t got your compact to hand.
The Galaxy Apollo is due to rock up on Orange first, before heading out to other networks later this summer. Tariffs are still under wraps, but expect this slick effort to undercut Android rivals and Apple alike.
