Samsung E60 – new eBook reader on the block

Samsung has confirmed that its E60 eBook reader is available to order online now. The device, released in partnership with WHSmith is available online now, and will be hitting stores on 26 August.

The E60 features WiFi and slide-out control keypad at the bottom to control the eBook and the in-built MP3 player. The device can store up to 1,200 of your favourite reads on its 2GB memory, and there’s also an SD card slot for those with voracious reading habits.

What’s more the Samsung E60 also comes bundled with 80 free titles from WHSmith. It proceeds the Samsung Galaxy Tab Android slate (with eBook capabilities) that’s set for arrival next week.

The Samsung E60 costs £199 and is available online now and in WHSmith stores from Friday.
