Samsung Armani Night Effect joins the catwalk
Model looks minus model tantrums
“That mobile is soooooo last season, daaaahhling.” That’s how we imagine the fashionistas at Armani greeted all Samsung’s ideas for a new mobile design. Anyway, after the P520 last term, what they came up with was the Samsung Armani Night Effect.
The fashion-obsessed phone company and clothes makers have consigned the touchscreen stylings of last season to the wardrobe and coated a candybar with a dash of both style and substance.
Underneath the designer togs and size-zero frame you’ll find a healthy diet of 3G and HSDPA – for fast speedy Internet browsing – along with a 3.2 megapixel pout-grabber. It’s no dull model either with an MP3 player kitted out with its own dedicated music controls and FM radio.
It’s 120MB leaves it a little skinny in the memory department, but with an microSD card slot on its hip it can always be upped. It’s got a lot up front too. A super-strong glass display will take any knocks or bumps with all the nonchalance of a catwalk queen when it saunters in this November. We swear it just gave us the Zoolander Blue Steel look!
