Ronaldo boots out new Nike Superflys
Nike's new Superfly boots go hi-tech
Cristiano Ronaldo last night unveiled his new football boots at Battersea Power Station in London. The Portugal star aired the new Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly IIs, which he’ll sport at this summer’s World Cup in South Africa.
The boots apparently feature an “adaptive traction system” built for “explosive acceleration”. While we don’t want to see any footy stars combust, we think it means the boot will help them go faster, whatever the cinditions.
The Mercurial Vapor SuperFly II also features Nike Football+ which connects to Nike’s swish new online football training programme.
The boots will be available from 22 March and will set you back £225.
