Rock Band 2 gets Lippy
Lips will soon be able to lend its microphone to Rock Band 2
We all have an inherent desire to be in a band, but the majority of us sound more like a foghorn blaring through a megaphone than, say, Axel Rose. No, wait a minute. That analogy doesn’t work. Anyway, games such as Rock Band and Lips for the Xbox 360 have given us vocally-challenged, not-so-silent majority the opportunity to showcase our limited range. Unfortunately, these games always come with so much equipment. Well, in yet more microphone news, Microsoft and MTV Games are actually working together to create a patch for Rock Band 2 so the Lips microphones can work with that game, too.
MTV Multiplayer has said that the patch will only be available “after launch” for Rock Band 2, however. Which does worry us slightly, but not as much as listening to our mates do a rendition of Tom Jones’ Sex Bomb. We’d rather watch X-Factor!
