Roberts outs ColourStream DAB radio
DAB in living colour
Roberts is making a bid for high-end DAB dominance with the newly launched ColourStream, a full-blown portable sound system with a high-resolution colour touchscreen display.
Hopefully set to arrive in time to make it onto gadget lovers’ festive shopping list, the ColourStream also boasts an iPod dock on top and Last.fm integration on its impressive spec sheet.
On top of DAB radio – present in newer DAB+ guise – the ColourStream also supports FM and internet radio through Wi-Fi, and up to 30 channels can be stored as presets.
Being Wi-Fi-enabled, media can be streamed directly from your PC via your home network, and the package is all wrapped up stylishly in high-gloss piano black.
You’ll need a spare £200 to get your hands on one, however, placing the ColourStream very much in the luxury market. Roberts hasn’t yet to reveal exactly when it’ll go on sale.
