Pure's Apple-friendly i-20 dock out now
Hook your iPhone up to your hi-fi without the hassle
Pure has unveiled the i-20, an iPod dock that takes the hassle out of hooking your Apple kit up to a hi-fi or AV system.
Getting the iPod or iPhone to play nice with your home audio system is normally a matter of relying on wireless streaming, or if your hi-fi doesn’t support that a traditional 3.5mm aux connector.
The i-20 does away with the need for either, connecting up via either analogue or digital outputs to your hi-fi and letting you enjoy all your favourite tunes without fuss.
Pure’s Clearsound audio tech ensures that the highest possible digital sound quality is maintained throughout. Alternatively, if you’re converting to analogue the Cirrus 4353 digital to analogue converter should take care of business with similar success.
It’s also the first dock to support digital video transfer in both digital and analogue flavours too, with the latter coming courtesy of a choice of component, composite or S-video connections.
The Pure i-20 has impressed Apple enough to get the coveted “Made for iPod” and “Made for iPhone” stamp of approval, and is available now for £74.99.
