Pure reveals Orla Kelly-inspired Evoke Mio Get designer DAB with this special edition Pure radio

Fancy taking the drab out of DAB? Then check out Pure’s Evoke Mio by Orla Kelly, a custom-designed creation from the digital radio specialist.

Like the conventional Evoke Mio, you get an FM and DAB radio combo based on the popular Evoke-1S. On top of its radio smarts it also sports an input for your iPod or other MP3 player, an auto-dimming OLED display, alarm, kitchen timer plus a USB connector for firmware upgrades.

Intellitext and textSCAN are on board too for added listening convenience.

But of course it’s on the outside that the Orla Kelly-inspired Evoke Mio makes its statement. It comes dressed in the fashion designer’s signature multi-coloured stem print front and back, and features a mirror chromed folding handle, walnut veneered cabinet, cream fascia and stylish leather tag in perfect keeping with the earthy tones of the designer’s homeware range.

The Evoke Mio by Orla Kiely will be available exclusively at John Lewis from early next month, and is set to retail for £150.

I'd prefer the Ola Jordan inspired version...
