Pure Evoke Marshall gets a makeover The Pure Marshall Evoke – now even more rockin'

Pure has re-released its Evoke Marshall radio. The Pure Evoke-1S keeps the same iconic stylings as the original – including the volume knob that goes all the way up to 11 – but has added some rocking updates.

Brand new features include a new OLED display complete with a light sensor that automatically adjusts according to how bright your room is; a stack more station presets (now at a whopping 30) and an aux input to hook up your MP3 player. there’s also Textscan and Intellitext functionality, so that you can pause and store the scrolling info on your screen.

The Marshal Evoke-1S is still wrapped in its iconic amp-like vinyl and wooden body and delivers the legendary Pure sonic goods, including a full-range hi-fi speaker and bass reflex port.

HMV will exclusively stocking the updated version from August and then it’ll go on sale from further retailers from September. Wherever you buy it, expect to shell out £119.99 for the Dab player.
