Pioneer headphones get fashion fix
Pioneer serve up some sexy headphones
Pioneer has just outed two pairs of fashion-conscious headphones – the SE-CL23 and SE-CL24. And unlike most “fashion” in-ears, these pairs won’t make you look like a prat in six months’ time
Originally released in, yep, you guessed it, Japan, the Pioneer SE-CL23 headphones have what the company calls a “cherry style”, in that they look a lot like the fruit. They come in dark red to look even more like cherries or white if you’re not feeling quite so fruity.
The Pioneer SE-CL24 headphones add a bit more classic style to the mix: these are in-ears with a strip of leather finishing. They come in either black or dark brown leather.
Because both are from Pioneer you can also expect some decent tech tucked away too: gold-plated connectors, 1.2m cables, 9mm drivers, a playback frequency of 20Hz to 20kHz and an impedence of 16 ohms. And each pair can cater to small, medium and large lugs, thanks to a bundled selection of buds.
The pricing is yet to be announced, but both pairs will be in the shops from July.
