Photoshop hits the iPhone Get ready to alter pics on the fly: Adobe's unleshed Photoshop for your iPhone

Adobe Photoshop is an amazing tool for journalists, art editors and people who like creating incriminating pictures of their mates (definitely not us!). Now Adobe has unleashed the Photoshop iPhone app you’ll be able to doctor images out and about and then stick them on Facebook before your pals cry fowl.

As well as getting up to naughty shenanigans, Photoshop for iPhone will also let you improve snaps taken with the much-maligned 3.2-megapixel camera on the iPhone 3GS. And the best bit is it’s a free app to boot! That doesn’t mean it’s free of awesome features though!

There’s plenty lifted from the full-fat Photoshop versions. We’re talking filters, saturation, rotation and vibrancy tweaks among other things. A neat touch from the bods at Adobe is the fact that they’ve also allowed for 2GB of online storage, which means you can store around 1,500 of your finest photographs online.

The only bad news is that this is only available across the pond at the moment. Hopefully Adobe will see sense and release the Photoshop for iPhone app over here shortly.

Great app. really amazing, being using it all day. All you need to do is to get a U.S itunes account to get your hands on this and where there is a will there is a way :-)

Have been using Adobe Photoshop for approximately 10 years and this is great news, just hope that it is the later version of CS4, as this version gets far greater use than previous versions on my Mac, than CS3 on my poor Windows OP
