Philips GoGear Muse – HD heading our way

Philips has just announced that the GoGear Muse portable media player will be hitting the UK this year. The big news is that the GoGear will come packing HD video skills – complete with 720p video output packed inside its slinky metal shell.

There’s also a 3.2inch HVGA screen, support for all your lossless FLAC files, an FM radio and BBC iPlayer support. The bundled headphones are not too shabby either – with added noise isolation, while Philips FullSound digital processing technology promises to deliver the best sound from compressed MP3s.

There’s no word on pricing yet, or an exact date when it will hit the UK, but we can’t wait to get our hands on one…
