Pentax W90 incoming next month
The Pentax W90 – for extreme snapping
If you fancy yourself as a bit of a rugged photographer type, than good news – you’ll only have to wait until the end of March to get your hands on the new super-tough Pentax W90.
The Optio W90 is the new ruggedised addition to the Pentax family and its 12.1 megapixel sensor will keep on snapping to a depth of six metres, as well as handling drops of up to 1.2 metres. It’s dustproof too, and the will work in temperatures down to minus ten degrees Celsius.
As with the new Pentax X90, the Pentax Optio W90 also shoots HD video at 720p, and there’s also a 5x optical zoom, 2.7-inch screen and face detection for up to 32 mugs, which will even work for your cats and dogs.
As we mentioned, the W90 goes on sale from the end of March, priced £269.99.
