Pentax Optio VS20 hi-def camera has two shutter buttons
As smartphones continue to compete with cameras, manufacturers of dedicated digital cameras are finding alternative ways to encourage gadget fans to sit up and take notice. For example, the new Pentax Optio VS20 has two shutter buttons.
The idea is to give photographers more control when taking portrait shots that require a bit of finger reach-around and result in an awkward grip. But there’s more to the well-specced high definition-enabled Pentax Optio VS20 than a couple of buttons…

On top of its dual shutter button goodness, the Pentax Optio VS20 also has a neat 20x zoom lens and a wide angle 28mm lens. The camera also has a 16-megapixel CCD sensor with image stabilisation.
In video terms the Pentax Optio VS20 will capture high definition video at 720p resolution for top-notch quality home movies worthy of sharing on YouTube or Vimeo.
The Pentax Optio VS20 will be in shops in black and white flavours from the end of February at a cost of £199.99 For that price you also get vertical tripod mount.
Will the Pentax Optio VS20 tempt you to take ditch the cameraphone when it comes to taking photos?
