With compact styling, some great designs and impressive build quality, there’s a lot to like about Micro Four Thirds cameras. As with bigger DSLRs, you’ll be able to choose lenses to suit the subject you’re shooting, and a relatively large sensor allows you to capture detailed images that are free from noise.
The Panasonic GX1 is the latest camera to take advantage of Micro Four Thirds technology, and has been leaked in some unofficial photographs.
As with most other cameras of this type, there’s no viewfinder on the back of the Panasonic Lumix GX1 – just a large screen. It’s capable of Full HD video recording, and rumours hint at a 16-megapixel sensor and 12,800 ISO capabilities. Other than that, details on the Lumix GX1 are currently scarce, although an official launch is rumoured in the next couple of weeks.
