Palm Pre finally dated for UK!
The wait is nearly over folks. The Palm Pre has got a UK price and release date
We were getting pretty tired of our smug American cousins rubbing their Palm Pres in our faces. Well, get ready to feel just as smug, because the Palm Pre has FINALLY been given a release date and price over here in good old Blighty.
So when can you get your hands on the Palm Pre – the phone that’s kept Apple’s lawyers more busy than than a home repossession company? Well, it’s being launched on October 16 on O2 via Carphone Warehouse and Phones4U. Where’s your smug face now, hmm?
Just a quick reminder then of what the Palm Pre’s all about: It has a 3.1-inch touchscreen, 3G, GPS, a three-megapixel camera and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, as well as Palm’s celebrated operating system WebOS.
And how much will it cost you to get your mitts on the Palm Pre? Well, you can get it free on a two-year contract for £44.05 a month, or free on an 18-month contract with monthly payments of £73.41. That’s quite a hefty sum, but it does include unlimited data at The Cloud and BT OpenZone.

Hello, I have the Iphone 3g and was wondering if it would be worth my while trading it in for the Palm Pre. Also I was wondering if the Pre was coming out for PAYG any time soon for the U.K Kindest Regards, Sam
