Packard Bell outs social networking notebooks Packard Bell's new beauties

The Packard Bell EasyNote M Series has just been given the official nod and, as well as a gorgeously slim chassy and capable specs from the three new notebooks, the big news is new on-touch social networking controls to let you stay on top of FaceBook , Flickr and YouTube in real time.

There are three models – the 14-inch EasyNote NM, the 15.6-inch EasyNote TM and the EasyNote LM, coming in at 17 inches. There’ll be up to 8GB RAM, 640GB storage and a choice between a DVD writer or a Blu-ray player.

As well as Windows 7 Home Premium, the EasyNote M Series will also come packing Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 and that extra-special Social Networking key that lets you see real-time alerts from your favourite social networking sites without launching a full web browser. The built-in webcam and mic also makes it a doddle to get face-to-face with all your friends and family.

There’s no word on pricing of the EasyNotes yet, but they will be available in Silk Silver, NightSky Black, Starlight White and Cashmere Red. Or silver, black, white and red to you and me.
