Orbitsound releases revolutionary T12 soundbar
Orbitsound T12 – sweet-spot smasher
British company Orbitsound has just released a trio of new audio products using unique “spatial stereo technology”, headed up by the Orbitsound T12 soundbar and iPod dock.
The T12 sounbar is the brainchild of sound engineer Ted Fletcher, who has discovered a way to create stereo sound dubbed airSOUND, that will deliver depth and clarity wherever you or the system is positioned in the room – creating what they’ve dubbed an “infinite sweet spot”.
You can also slot your iPod or iPhone straight into the device to enjoy native video straight from your player and there’s also a 3.5mm stereo jack for non-iPod owners.
Alongside the T12, Orbitsound also released the T4 Radiopod Wi-Fi radio and iPod dock that uses the same technology to deliver sweet-sounding stereo.
The company also unveiled the T3 portable speaker that uses the same technology to create a “halo” of stereo sound when you wear it round your neck and can be synced up wirelessly to your iPod or iPhone. We’re sure that commuters will be thrilled at the prospect of bus tunes in stereo.
The T12 v2 is available from John Lewis for £299.99, while the Radiopod weighs in at £179.99 and the T3 at £49.99 – both are available from the Orbitsound site.
