Opera web browser destined for iPhone?
Will Opera be singing it's way to the iPhone? (Oh OK it doesn't really sing)
Last week the Opera web browser was all set to land on the iPhone only to be rejected by Apple. Not so says the latest gadget tittle tattle.
Without mentioning his top secret sources, Daring Fireball’s John Gruber said, “Opera has developed an iPhone version of Opera Mini, they haven’t even submitted it to Apple, let alone had it be rejected.”
Currently there’s an Opera app available for Windows Mobile, S60, BlackBerry and Palm mobiles, but of course Apple will want its own Safari browser to be top dog.
It’s all hush-hush for now though. But we’ll be there when the silence breaks.
