Olympus offers free flash with PEN EP-1
Let there be light. Free light
The distinctive Olympus PEN E-P1 is certainly one of the better gadgets to come along in 2009, but Olympus is sweetening the deal even further with a free flash.
From tomorrow, 12 December, until the end of January anyone who buys an E-P1 – either body only or in kit form – will also be eligible score a free FL-14 flash worth £160.
To take advantage of Olympus’ seasonal goodwill, you need to register online and then send your receipt and the barcode from the box to Olympus by the end of February.
The E-P1’s retro styling hides some pretty clever electronics inside, including a Micro Four Thirds image sensor – the secret behind its compact dimensions.
Next month Olympus pans to follow up the E-P1 success story with the E-P2, which throws a viewfinder and several other new features into the mix, though it doesn’t quite have the same retro-futuristic styling.
