Nokia Lumia 900 UK flavour due this June
The Nokia Lumia 900 unveiled at CES 2012 is finally expected to go on sale in the UK this June. Nokia UK hasn’t announced officially a UK flavour of 4.3-inch smartphone but the release date has appeared on at least one high-street retailer.
Nokia’s newest and upcoming flagship phone is currently listed on the Carphone Website on its “coming soon” page, where visitors can pre-order the phone right now. But it is the “expected June 2012” listing below that, that finally confirms when we may be able to get our hands on what experts called ‘the best phone at CES 2012’.
June 2012 sounds like a long time to wait, and in that time many more handsets will hit the shops, however the Nokia Lumia 900 is one of the handsets worth waiting for, and keeping an eye on in 2012.
Pricing and tariff details are yet to be announced, but for the price Nokia Lumia 900 owners will be get the latest Windows Phone with the familiar polycarbonate stylings of the earlier-released Nokia Lumia 800.
The Nokia Lumia 900 features a 4.3-inch AMOLED screen fitted with Nokia’s ClearBlack display that promises better colour reproduction, 1.4GHz processor, 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a front-facing 1-megapixel camera for video calls.
High definition video recording at 720p, free satellite navigation and a battery that provides up to 300 hours in standby, and 60 hours of music playback complete the package.
However, it is worth remembering that Nokia has not yet officially confirmed the June 2012 date that Carphone Warehouse promises, so do keep an eye on the store should that change.

Easily the slickest and most well designed and possibly the most well built Nokia of all time, I just find some of it's appeal is lost from having windows on it. If it was Android, then this would be on most people's list as a very worthy upgrade. I think it'll take a LOT of time before people can see past the bland and VERY basic dull and uninspiring look of the windows os.
