Nokia E72 gets a price
BlackBerrys? Pah! There's a new business blower on its way...
The Nokia E72, Nokia’s emailer handset with more business skills than the entire green room of the Dragon’s Den set, has just been slapped with a price tag by none other than Nokia itself. Read on for the figures…
So what price for the ultimate business blower? Well, Nokia’s shackled the E72 with a £359 pre-order price tag. That might seem a bit steep, but for that you get a SIM-free – no contract worries at all – and with it all the beautiful extras Nokia’s ploughed in.
For instance it’s rare that you’ll find a decent camera on a business phone like this, but Nokia’s seen fit to kit out the E72 with a highly commendable five-megapixel offering and an image editor. Then there’s the built-in GPS navigation and Exchange support for emailing. All performed on that awesome 2.36-inch screen. All that then, and Microsoft Office 2007 compatibility.Truly the ultimate business phone.
So does the Nokia E72 have what it takes to prise the BlackBerry from your palm? We want to know. Let us know in the comments section below…

Having had an E72 for a month or so (as a business phone) I can honestly say that I am not that impressed with it. The build quality is poor with light escaping from parts of the phone that it should not be visible from. It is buggy to set up with mail for exchange seemingly working if it feels like it and if it does not work the only way to get it running again is a restore to factory settings!! The phone often hangs and is generally buggy to use. The email notification icon frequently disappears thus requiring a trawl through the settings to invoke the notification despite the fact that it is already invoked. If this phone was not supplied by my business it would have been returned by now as not up to the job.
