Nokia E7 finally dated and priced by Nokia
Symbian 3's E Series swansong?
Nokia has built up quite a reputation for taking an age to go from announcing new phones to actually getting them on the shelves, but even by those standards the Nokia E7’s arrival has been drawn out.
The Symbian 3-run E Series flagship was first announced way back in September, and the original hope was that we might finally see it by the end of last year. No such luck.
But it looks like the long wait might now finally be nearly over, as Nokia has officially put the E7 up for pre-order, and says it will ship next month.
Buy it straight from Nokia and you’ll be charged a one-off £499 SIM-free, while PAYG comes in at £469.
The E7 could well be the final appearance for Symbian 3 on a high-end Nokia, with the company having made the decision last month to build its smartphone future around Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 platform instead.

I'm sure it''ll be another under powered glitchy piece of junk with games that would look truly terrible even 20 years ago. Nokia has had it's day! Please Nokia, Just quit!

The Phone looks very stylish and the keyboard looks good! Will have to wait and see. @ DaRiCh: Yeah.. cause if you want to play games you buy a phone instead of a 3DS or PSP...

At PhoneisPhone, the whole point of modern powerful phones is that they CAN do decent looking games, as they should if they've got the processing power AND you won't need to carry around a BULKY pocket console (DS/PSP). Get with the program dude!

The E7 is a grown up business phone. It's a tool not a toy - to get things done with. A left handed person can even make calls from it.
