Nokia C5-03 takes a bow
More entry-level smartphone goodness from Nokia
Always keen to look out for the masses, Nokia has released the C5-03, a budget smartphone featuring the solid Symbian 1 mobile OS.
Confusingly, there’s already a Nokia C5 out there, a similarly budget candybar featuring a traditional number pad, but the C5-03 is decidedly different thanks to its all-touch 3.2in display. It also comes with Wi-Fi, a five-megapixel camera and microSD card slot.
Despite Nokia’s efforts to promote the latest Symbian 3 release with its recent handsets, this is the older Symbian 1 – or Symbian S60 5th edition as it’s traditionally been known.
It comes in a trio of colours, and is down to cost €170 plus local taxes and subsidies once it heads out of Nokia’s doors around the end of the year.
