Nokia C1 – stonking battery life
Nokia has just announced the C1 – a brand new budget blower that’s able to pack in two SIM cards, should you want to manage two phone accounts from the one handset. Nokia also claims that the battery life is the longest ever for one of its handsets – a staggering six weeks on a single charge – making this a perfect second handset to pack for your hols.
This budget candybar may not be taking on any smartphone any time soon, but it does come packing a colour screen, a flashlight and an FM radio.
There are also two further flavours of C1 coming up – the Nokia C10-1 is a Symbian S40 candybar with an FM radio, microSD slot for up to 32GB of storage, VGA camera, web browsing and email support – but a single SIM slot, for €39 (£32). The Nokia C1-02 meanwhile is a single-SIM phone with a microSD slot and internet access for €35 (£29).
The original Nokia C1 is out in the third quarter of 2010, with the the Nokia C1-01 and C1-02 following in the fourth.
