Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is an Orange exclusive
Orange has bagged exclusive rights to Nokia's 5800 musical chum
Zesty network operator Orange has nabbed the exclusive rights to the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic mobile in a crucial deal.
There’s only one thing more frenzied than a queue to grab the latest handset, and that’s the rush to bag the exclusive operator deal and it looks like Orange has won it this time. It means each of the major operators now has a top weapon of choice in the mobile war zone.
One of the biggest deals saw O2 bag the holy grail of phone contracts for the iPhone, while T-Mobile signed up for the Android packing T-Mobile G1 while BlackBerry Storm handlers can head straight to Vodafone for their ‘Berry flavoured phone fix.
It’s a real coup for the other fruity company to bag Nokia’s first ever touchscreen handset and the juicy carrot (its fruits and vegetables aplenty here) of Nokia’s Comes With Music free unlimited tunes fest.
The tactile telephoner will be available SIM-free for £219 early next year when it’ll be heading to bright Orange counters across the country.
