Nokia 5800 XpressMusic finally goes on sale! After a year’s build-up Nokia’s touchscreen smartphone is finally on sale

We hate getting the Tube. Well this is one Tube we’d like to get our hands on (Ha! See what we did there? It was a play on words!). The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic (aka the Tube) has gone on sale today in Nokia’s flagship Regent Street store in London and Heathrow’s Terminal Five Nokia store.

Nokia’s highly desirable touchscreen mobile has been in the offing for around a year now and has been highly anticipated by Nozza fans. The SIM-free handset is on sale for £249, while networks will be offering it for “free” on contract.

With a Comes With Music version very much in Nokia’s plans for the future, this is a tasty little appetizer for the Nokia touchscree-toting phone we want to get our hands on – the Nokia N97. Until that’s released (end of March) though, we’ll happily get all touchy feely with the Tube!
