Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition won’t get lost! Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition comes with a lifetime of Drive and Walk licenses

Thought the Nokia 5800 was all about music? Think again. The Finns have just unwrapped a brand new model that will see that you never get lost again. The Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition comes packed with a lifetime of Drive and Walk licenses and Ovi Maps pre-installed.

Nokia’s Drive and Walk service gives you turn-by-turn voice guidance, traffic alerts and automatic re-routing, meaning you can give it pride of place on your dashboard and throw out the old standalone sat-nav. In the box you’ll find a Nokia car charger and car kit so you can let it bark orders at you while you keep an eye on the road.

Ovi Maps sport a host of points of interest so you’ll know what’s worth seeing while you’re out and about. If you fancy a pint and a bite to eat, it’ll find the best place to get some grub in your area. It’ll even let you know if there’s a spot of rain coming, thanks to local weather reports.

The Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition is due out sometime in the next few months and the price has been revealed as 285 Euros – around £250. That’ll obviously depend on contracts though, so you may find a good bargain.

i really cant see the point in nokia doing this as the phone already supports gps , and runs very good with a few brands of sat nav. to be honest i think nokia have probably got too much stock left to sell and doing it to clear stock..so c`mon nokia stop pulling peoples legs making everyone think its summin new
