Nintendo DSi to get an early run-out?
It looks like we’ll be getting our hands on the Nintendo DSi earlier than we first thought
It looks like the Nintendo DSi could be heading to these shores sooner than expected, after a document appeared on its website saying that the handheld console is scheduled for a Spring/Summer European release.
It was thought that Europe and the UK wouldn’t be getting the updated version of the DS until much later in the year, but this new date could mean that we’ll be getting the much-hyped handheld in just a few months.
What’s all the fuss about? Well, the DSi has a built-in three-megapixel camera, an additional camera for gameplay and a slightly larger screen than previous models. That’s not all, though. That extra i in the name means you also get extra multimedia features including a media player, photo viewer and web browser. There’s even an SD card slot for bigging up your storage! You can see why we want to get our hands on it now!
The lucky guys in Japan have had it for a while now, so it’s about time we got our hands on it. Let’s just hope Nintendo ships enough for everyone!
