Nintendo DS Lite remixed for Xmas
A new Nintendo DS could well be this year's must-have Christmas gadget!
Nintendo could be poised to launch a brand new DS Lite complete with camera and multimedia playback in time for Christmas – this Christmas!
According to Japanese news hounds Nikkei Net the new handheld could arrive as early as next month with Nintendo all set for a big announcement before the end of 2008.
Unlike previous Nintendo consoles there’ll be more than games to keep everyone occupied. The new DS is rumoured to be getting a serving of image and music playing talents to put it on par with the PSP and the iPhone.
Expect Wii-style shortages when it does hit the shops though. Nintendo fans tend to panic-buy any new offerings in the Christmas period, especially if the modest £100 price tag for the new DS Lite is correct.
