New Logitech cans cut the volume to protect your kids
The Logitech Loud Enough in plum flavour
With study after study warning us about the long-term effects of listening to music too loudly on our MP3 players, Logitech has stepped in with its new Loud Enough in-ear cans.
Designed specifically for children, Logitech claims the Loud Enoughs lower the average volume of music by up to 30 per cent compared with rivals earphones, so your music-loving kids won’t be able to damage their lugholes by cranking out the tunes too loudly.
Given their target market, Logitech is at pains to point out that they’re sturdily constructed despite their feather-light weight of just 10.2g, while the usual trio of in-ear cushions are smaller than usual to provide a better match for younger ears.
On the technical side, frequency response runs from 20Hz to 20KHz, and the earphones are enclosed in their own pocketable hard case to protect them against knocks and scrapes.
The Logitech Loud Enough headphones come in three colours – plum, mint and blueberry – and for a taste of the action you’ll need to fork out £30.
