New iPod Touch coming in August?
iPod Touch – new model incoming?
Following last week’s reports of a new iPod Touch arrival before Christmas, new rumours put Apple’s new music player arriving as soon as next week.
According to MacMagazine, a “reliable source within Apple” has said that the company may eschew its traditional September iPod release date in order to out its brand-new player in August. The new player is tipped to have a few features borrowed from its mobile phone brother, including a high-quality retina display and a front-facing camera for FaceTime video chat.
The latest source pegged the iPod release date for before 16 August. There’s also rumoured to be a new iPod Shuffle and iPod Nano, both toting touchscreen displays.
The Apple hype machine might have just gone into overdrive earlier than usual, or we might see a new family of iPods in a week’s time – either way, keep it locked for the latest iPod news as it happens…

I own the newest version of iPod touch to date, I'm excited about an new one being released, if it has a camera i think it will be too similar to an iPhone, the only differences would be no 3g or messaging, may aswell just buy an iPhone unless the price is really good. :)
